Waxahachie High School Men’s Soccer is proud to host and compete in the Zane Walker Memorial Tournament, taking place January 15–17 at Lumpkins Stadium in Waxahachie, Texas.
This multi-day tournament brings together strong programs from across the region and provides an exciting opportunity for our Junior Varsity, JV2, and Freshman teams to compete in meaningful early-season matches. The tournament features both bracket play and pool play, allowing our student-athletes to gain valuable experience, build chemistry, and continue their development as the season progresses.
Throughout the three days of competition, WHS will face opponents including Corsicana, Midlothian, Midlothian Heritage, UME Prep, Summit, Red Oak, Saginaw, and Life Wax. Each match is another chance for our players to represent Waxahachie with pride, discipline, and heart.
Beyond the competition, the Zane Walker Memorial Tournament is about community. Hosting this event at Lumpkins Stadium allows our families, fans, and supporters to rally behind our players and create an atmosphere that motivates and inspires them. The energy from the stands plays a meaningful role in helping our boys perform at their best.
